Promote peace and unity during Eid – Ahmed Ibrahim to Muslims

 

Minister for Local Government, Chieftaincy and Religious Affairs, Ahmed Ibrahim, has urged Muslims to promote peace, unity and tolerance as they celebrate Eid al-Fitr.

In an Eid message to Muslims in Ghana and across the world, Mr Ibrahim described the occasion as a time for reflection, spiritual renewal and renewed commitment to compassion, justice and social responsibility.

He also encouraged Muslims to use the celebration to strengthen national cohesion, foster mutual respect and contribute positively to the development of their communities and the country.

He also called on Muslims to celebrate the festival safely and pray for peace, harmony and continued progress for the nation.
