The Ghana Gold Board (GoldBod) has dismissed as “completely false” a report by Asaase Radio claiming the entity has recorded losses of more than GHC3 billion during its maiden year.
The Board says the publication is deliberately misleading and aimed at downplaying the significant progress it has made.
"The Ghana Gold Board urges the general public to treat this false publication by “Asaaseradio” with utmost contempt and calls on the management of the station to retract and render an unqualified apology to the general public for such misleading and unethical publication." A statement from the GoldBod said.
