From helping established one company and setting out to establish another one within a six-year time frame. His track record made it relatively easy for the scheme to declare him the winner.

MR ABEDNEGO SEFAH ASARE’S ENTREPRENEURIAL JOURNEY
Having grown with Hebei Textiles Limited, which he helped
established in 2015, Mr. Abednego Sefah Asare is a
great manager with elaborative knowledge in the textiles industry and has
gained substantial experience in the field over the years.
Mr. Abednego Sefah Asare holds a bachelor's degree in MBBS
(Bachelor of Medicine Bachelor of Surgery) from Jiangsu University in China.
After his graduation in 2015, he decided to move back to Ghana to complete his
medical examination to be fully certified as a medical doctor and a surgeon.
But unfortunately, that dream was cut short because he was not able to pay for
his examination fees.
That notwithstanding, he did not give up in life. One faithful day in west hills malls. Mr. Abednego Sefah Asare met a group of Chinese and because of his ability to speak their language, he was able to engage them in a conversation. After which they exchanged contacts and departed. After several months of silence, a call came in one day from one of the Chinese friends he met at the mall. And the conversation was all about seeking his assistance to help them establish a company in Ghana.
Mr. Abednego Sefah Asare took the offer gladly on his terms
to work with them for five years. During the said period, He played the role of
a translator, a driver, a finance director, and a production manager.
Everything in his capacity to make the company a success, Mr. Asare did not
relent but gave his all.
After the expiration of the contract, from a production manager with over 100 workers under him, Mr. Abednego took the leap of faith, to establish his own company.
In his own words; ‘A CEO is a leader who should be a good team player, ready to learn even from his subordinates and be fair and honest in his or her dealings. Above all be optimistic, identify opportunities, and be creative,
It is evident that the pandemic and the current economic woes have rendered the role of the CEO even more crucial. The CEO role now has related goals to customer satisfaction, employee engagement, and digitization included in the long-term strategy.
This year’s winner of the most promising CEO at the Ghana Corporate Awards demonstrates not just strategic vision and the ability to make course corrections as market dynamics change, but also a keenness to understand deeply what the customer wants while being empathetic to the needs of the employees at a time.
‘Doctors save patients from dying, opening a company and employing people is also a way of saving people’s life. With 50 people gainfully employed by his company. The ripple effects of their employment status go a long way to save many people who depend on them.’ He lamented in an interview.
