According to the Henley Passport Index, a passport from Seychelles opens more doors than a passport from any other African country.
The
index is an annual power ranking of passports determined by the number of
destinations a passport holder can enter without a visa.
Globally,
Japan and Singapore secured the top spot for 2021, with access to most
countries and territories without the need for visa payment. According to the
index, a passport holder from these two countries promises uncomplicated travel
to 192 other countries and territories in 2021.
The
2021 ranking remains largely unchanged from 2020 with only a few exceptions
even though travel restrictions and bans vary from country to country amid the
coronavirus pandemic, with some countries requiring mandatory quarantines and
negative COVID-19 test results upon arrival.
